One of the most beautiful spots in North Carolina for a summer engagement session is the Blue Ridge Parkway in Boone, North Carolina. This spot is one of my favorites as it offers spectacular views of Grandfather Mountain. We snuck past some of the rain at higher elevations and chose this as our “backup” location – and it definitely paid off!

The vibrant colors of summer provided the perfect backdrop for this session. The greenery was lush and the sky ended up showing off for a beautiful sunset and cotton candy sky. Katy and Ryan are so sweet and fun, which really made my job super easy! I had such a fun time with them, capturing their natural chemistry and love for each other. I can’t wait to see them tie the knot this August!
