What started as a love for storytelling as a marketer turned into a full-blown obsession with capturing love stories, and honestly? Best plot twist of my life.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me with my husband (my actual best friend) and our two hilarious and slightly chaotic dogs, Crash and Rowdy. We're the kind of people who live for Appalachian State football games, will never say no to a baseball game, and have a running list of places to visit next. Greece recently made it to the top of that list and completely stole my heart — the light, the color, the romance of it all reminded me exactly why documenting beautiful moments matters so much.
And that's where I come in. Consider me your personal hype woman, your encourager, your motivational speaker, your biggest fan. The words "I'm so awkward" or "I'm not good at taking pictures" are not allowed here. My whole goal is to make you feel so beautiful and so seen that you leave your session beaming from the inside out. We're going to have a blast doing it too, because the best photos don't come from stiff poses. They come from real moments and genuine joy.
So if that sounds like your kind of experience, I think we're going to get along just fine.
Good photos and a good time? Non-negotiable. From the moment we meet, the goal is for you to feel so comfortable and so in your element that the fun just happens naturally. We're talking real laughs, genuine moments, and the kind of joy that's impossible to fake. Because the truth is, the best photos aren't carefully constructed, they're captured. When you're actually having a blast, it shows in every single frame. Your gallery should feel like you, alive, joyful, and anything but posed.
At the end of the day, this is a love story. And love stories deserve to be told beautifully. The quiet moments, the stolen glances, the way he reaches for your hand without even thinking about it. Those are the things worth holding onto forever, and those are exactly what I am here to capture. I want your photos to take you right back to how it felt in that moment, the butterflies, the warmth, the feeling that the whole world faded away and it was just the two of you. Romance isn't about perfectly curated backdrops or picture perfect lighting. It lives in the in-between moments, the ones that are so natural and so real that you almost miss them. Almost. That's where I'll be.
Feeling comfortable in front of a camera doesn't come naturally to most people, and that is completely okay. In fact, it's kind of my specialty. Before we ever meet for your session, I want to already feel like a familiar face. That means getting to know you, your story, and what makes you feel most like yourself. Happy cry during your vows, sneak a kiss when you think nobody's looking, laugh until your stomach hurts. Those are the moments I live for, and those are the ones that will take your breath away when you see them in your gallery. No stiff poses, no awkward silences, no pressure. Just you, feeling exactly as beautiful as you are.
Your gallery should look like you, not like everyone else's. A true and honest reflection of who you are and the love you share. Whoever you are, whoever you love, whatever your story looks like, that is exactly what deserves to be documented. Traditional or anything but, big celebration or intimate elopement, I am here to serve you and tell your story the way only you could tell it. Because the photos that will mean the most to you ten, twenty, fifty years from now won't be the perfectly posed ones. They'll be the ones that make you say "that's exactly how it was." That's what I'm after every single time.
